What is SWIP Insulation?
SWIP stands for Solid Wall Internal Insulation – it's a type of insulation used inside your home’s walls (especially solid brick or stone walls that don’t have a cavity).
What does it include?
SWIP Studs – special supports that stop heat from escaping through the walls (better than normal wooden or metal studs).
Insulation Batts – thick slabs of mineral wool that trap heat inside.
Vapour Barrier – stops moisture from getting into the wall.
Plasterboard – goes on top to give you a smooth, paintable surface.
Why use SWIP Insulation?
Warmer home – keeps more heat in during winter.
Lower bills – reduces heating costs.
